Mission Chinese Food

Mission Chinese Food is a study of juxtapositions. The divey bar area versus the dining room, the American-Chinese fusion done so delightfully in dishes like kung pao pastrami and green tea noodles - but somehow you can also get good pizza here.  Every bite I had was delicious, although service was slow and the waiter forgot about one of my dishes. My friends and I ended up taking only a few bites of the dessert as we felt so badly for the folks who had been waiting for the bar table we were at. We were anxious for them to experience the amazing food as well.

Salted cod fried rice was a bit too salty for me, but I appreciated the flavor -- and drank lots of water.
